What Came First … the Chicken or the Egg?
Well I am here today to put you out of your misery on a very similar dilemma!!
What do Brides do first?
- Decide on hairstyle then purchase headpiece?
- Spend money on a hair trial to decide on style then purchase headpiece?
- Let your chosen hairstyle dictate what headpiece you can choose?
- NONE of the above?
These are the questions and dilemmas I deal with every day at Rubys Adorables.
THE ANSWER
- YOU (and I mean you, not your entourage) pick a headpiece you have fallen in love with and PURCHASE IT!
- Book your hair trial and TAKE THE HEADPIECE with you and give it to the Hairdresser. This hair trial is for you to try as many styles as you need to try and like every good workman who needs the relevant tools to do their job..your hairdresser needs your headpiece to work your style around.
Never have your hair trial before picking your headpiece, or you will just end up paying for 2 hair trials and that is money that can be spent on other things!
LITTLE TIP
I am also going to leave you with a LITTLE TIP that I share with all brides who visit my Stand at Wedding Fayres.
If you are newly engaged and just starting out on the Merry-Go-Round that is the Wedding Fayre Circuit, then you will be familiar with the barrage of leaflets that are often thrust in to your hand!!
This is usually followed by your hubby to be looking like a frightened Rabbit in the Headlights as these people are now going to be questioning him on things he knows he should know about..but, he also knows that he may not have been paying full attention to you all of the time, and this is the time you are going to realise said error on his part and he is going to be in the doghouse for the rest of the day!!
Well to try and alleviate such tension I give the LITTLE TIP of folding down the corner of the flyers given to you by the most interesting relevant people that you think you will want to speak with again!
When you get home I can guarantee you will have no less than 50 flyers in your bag and will not be able to remember the name of the lovely lady with the sparkly things that you want to get your headpiece from!
So I hope you have found my blog informative and useful and I would love to hear from you to help you with your Bridal Accessories.
