The Smokey Eye-A Timeless Trend
From deep greys to lighter neutrals, the smokey eye is a classic look for your wedding day that will stand the test of time. Whether you prefer a dramatic glamorous look or a subtle natural look, there is a smokey eye to suit you. Teamed with false eyelashes or lashings of black mascara, along with eyeliner, your eyes are sure to pop!

The first step in creating a smokey eye is to use a good eye primer. This will ensure that your eyeshadow stays put throughout your wedding day and into the evening celebrations. Browns, bronzes and greys are elegant colours that are widely used for bridal looks, or pinks and lighter nude shades can be used to create a more natural look.
The key to a smokey eye is to blend, blend, blend! You should not be able to tell where one shade ends and the other begins. When choosing an eyeliner, for a more dramatic look, a gel liner can be used. For a softer look, the eyes can be lined with a highly pigmented powder eyeshadow. This will help to enhance the eyes giving slight definition.
The smokey eye is so versatile that it looks fantastic with a pink or nude lip, or a bold lip. You could go for a natural lip during the daytime and amp up the lipstick later, taking your look from morning through to your night time dancing.
