Stylish Cocktails for a Bridal Shower
A great bridal shower should always include fun surprises, lots of laughter and some boozy cocktails. It’s the last party before your girl is swept away to a new chapter of her story, and her journey so far should be celebrated in style. You can organize a surprise party at your favorite venue, have a tour where you hit up every good pub in town or simply stay in and remember all the best moments of your lives. So, let’s see what can be on the menu of the greatest party ever thrown:

Tom Collins Variations
A classic Tom Collins is a simple mix of gin, lemon juice, some simple syrup and some fizzy water. And while the classic carries that title for a good reason, a bridal shower is the perfect occasion to spice things up a little bit. You can try a wonderfully pink Cranberry Collins, by replacing simple syrup with cranberry juice. If you’re not a fan of gin, you can replace it with a different alcohol and get a Vodka Collins. You can even prepare a line of different flavoring and garnishes, like fruit, herbs and juices, and let everyone experiment and make their best concoction.
Bubbly bouquet
This Californian drink will get your taste buds melting with the mixture of flavors. Gin is also the star of this one, but unlike the previously mentioned Tom, here it works with the bitterness of the Aperol and bounces off the fresh lemon juice. Gin is great for any season, and the orange in this gives it the natural sweet-sour-bitter flavor that we love with all citrus fruits.

Raspberry, Prosecco and mint
The name alone should be enough to tingle your taste buds, and this Australian cocktail will do exactly that. In a shaker, combine strained raspberry puree, vodka, mint leaves, chili flakes and simple syrup and shake it up until well combined. Strain everything into a glass over ice and decorate with some more mint leaves and raspberries. The variety of flavors make this cocktail easy to drink, but the vodka and chili give it the kick a true party cocktail deserves. You can experiment with your favorite fruits and herbs to find something you’ll all like.

Strawberry ice pops
This is the perfect summer cocktail and one that is sure to be a show-stopper. The first part is to prepare the icicles: The original recipe by Karen Cohen calls for strawberries, but you can choose your favorite fruit. Chop it up finely and puree another part of it. Mix the puree with some bubbly champagne, grapefruit juice and simple syrup, then add the chopped strawberries and add it all into molds. Let it freeze overnight, or for at least six hours until solid. Serve in tall glasses, quarter filled with champagne. You can also use the old mom’s trick of putting the stick of the popsicle in a paper muffin cup to prevent any mess.

Kingdom of Passion
This pick-me-up comes from a bar in Quebec, and it’s the perfect mix of smooth and sharp to cut through the sweet drinks you’ve probably been going at for the evening. It combines cold pressed coffee, absinthe, coffee liqueur and some milk, with a touch of tonic syrup. Think of this cocktail as the mid-day coffee break of the party, because it will allow you to sit down and drink relaxed, and then give you the kick of caffeine to keep up the party.
Make sure you have plenty of food to go with the drinks, and some non-alcoholic options as well. You can prepare the drinks yourself, have a designated mixer friend or simply hire a barista for the night so you don’t have to worry about the flow stopping. Drink responsibly and make sure that the night of your life is a night you will actually remember
