How to Prepare Your Skin Ahead of Your Wedding Day
So, your big day is just around the corner and you have all of the essentials taken care of. You’ve said yes to the dress, picked your venue, found the perfect photographer and of course secured Wedding Angels for your hair and make-up – you’re all done right? Not quite.
If you want flawless skin on your wedding day, there are a few easy steps to take in the lead up that will have you glowing as you walk down the aisle. All eyes are going to be on you and by building these steps into your daily routine in the months, weeks and days before your wedding we’ll have you feeling and looking your very best.
Here are Wedding Angels’ top three tips for prepping your skin ahead of your big day:
Six months before: Begin advance treatments
If you treat yourself to these already, start treatments such as chemical peels or microneedling at least 6 months ahead of your big day. These treatments will help to get rid of acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and boost your collagen and elastin. During these months, home care is key. Be consistent with your routine and don’t be sucked into social media trends, everyone’s skin is different.
One week before: Book a professional facial
A professional facial will provide all of the necessary pre-wedding treatments, perfectly customised for your skin to give you that radiant wedding day glow. One the day: Arrive make-up free
Take your make-up off before you go to sleep the night before and meet Wedding Angels make-up free.
