The North of England wedding Awards in association with The Wedding Guide UK are Yorkshire and North East England’s most prestigious awards for client service excellence. The Awards recognise those businesses which go the extra mile for their customers, providing outstanding service and inspiring their customers to want to actively and positively promote them.

Organised by The Wedding Guide UK, the North of England Wedding Awards recognise those businesses which provide outstanding customer service and go the extra mile for their customers.
Each year, hundreds of companies enter into the awards, with the votes of their own couples deciding whether they should be shortlisted as finalists in 18 categories, which included Most Outstanding Customer Service offered by a Wedding Venue, Wedding Florist and Wedding Caterer.
The North of England Wedding Awards judges then analyse customer comments before deciding the overall winners in each category with the winners all receiving an inscribed trophy.

Is your business ready to enter the Awards?
When considering entering be aware that your customers will be judging your business on its demonstrated proven ability to provide:
Excellent Product Quality
Value for Money
Individual winners and finalists reflect on the quality standards of all Award winners and finalists. Analysis of your customer reviews will be carried out by a panel of judges.
Nominations open on 1st March and remain open until 30th April 2018. Voting beings on 1st May until 25th July 2018 and finalists will be notifedill be notifed by 5th August.
The awards dinner will take place at York Racecourse on Monday 17th September 2018.
Fill out and submit the registration form, making sure that you select the correct categories and location for your business.
You will receive a confirmation email. Just before nominations close on 30th April 2018 we will send you detailis of how your couples can vote for you.
Voting will open on 1st May 2018 and close on 25th July 2018.
Speak to your couples and ask them to review your business on the weddingguideuk.com website (you will also receive these reviews after the awards). Your couples will be able to vote for your business and post a comment about why you should win.

To be eligible to enter the North of England Wedding Awards you must have premises in or provide your services from home to customers in Yorkshire or North East England in one or more of the following categories:
Bridal Gowns and Occasion Wear
Cakes and Sweet Treats
Cars and Carriages
Health and Beauty
Wedding Fair Organisers
Wedding Jewellery and Accessories
Wedding Venue Dressing
New Wedding Business **
* Companies supplying a service, such as gift companies, honeymoon providers and toastmasters, should enter the Wedding Services category.
** New businesses (trading under 12 months) may nominate themselves or be nominated.
- You may enter as either a new business or under one of the trading business categories. Not as a trading business AND a new business.
- Entries may be taken from individual stores or outlets, therefore if your business has two shops and they both enter it is possible that both shops could compete against each other in the final.
- Individual businesses only may enter, an entry consisting of two collaborating businesses will not be eligible.
- We reserve the right to decline entry to any company.
- If there is only one entry in a category we reserve the right to move them to the Wedding Services section.
- Companies submitting an entry agree to expect a site visit from the judges if required.
Winners are then decided from qualitative analysis of the comments from your customers. The judges will base their decision on the Customer comments in relation to the four key measures, Excellent Service, Product Quality, Value for Money, ‘Going the Extra Mile’
The judge’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered in to.

Voting may only be carried out by actual consumers not businesses. The awards are ‘peoples’ choice’ and votes will be verified. Only bona fide couples will be permitted to place a review.
It is necessary to receive at least 4 votes for your entry to be validated and therefore progressed for quantitative analysis. We will record the customer comments for you to receive after the event. Whilst we only require 4 votes to qualify a business for the finals, we take into account the number of votes received against your average score as a ratio.
Reviews will only be accepted from genuine customers who have used the company they are reviewing between 1st June 2017 and 27th July 2018. If any review is found to be fraudulent, the supplier will automatically be eliminated from the Awards.
Reviews will only be accepted from couples that have used the service they are reviewing, if you are a family member or friend reviewing the product/service as the purchaser/consumer/payer then please fill out the form with the couples’ details not yours.
We reserve the right to decline entry to any reviewer not meeting the above voting criteria.
